Privacy notice
Updated October 16, 2026. This notice explains the difference between local document conversion and online features such as accounts, payments and advertising.
Your documents
Documents opened or pasted into the public converters are processed in your browser and are not uploaded to MD2 servers for conversion. Downloads are saved on your device. Remote images in documents, third-party fonts or PDF processing resources may make network requests to their respective providers.
Accounts and templates
Registration and sign-in require account and authentication information. Session cookies maintain your signed-in state. Custom templates that you choose to save to your account are stored on the server and are separate from local document conversion. Avoid saving unnecessary sensitive information in templates.
Payments
Paid features use Stripe or Xunhu Pay to process payments. These providers handle payment information under their own privacy policies. MD2 uses order and subscription status to provide your plan benefits.
Google advertising and privacy choices
Free public pages may display Google AdSense ads. Google and advertising partners may use cookies, IP addresses and device information to deliver ads, measure performance and prevent fraud. Ads may be personalized depending on your region and choices. Google's consent message provides choices in applicable regions; the Privacy choices link in the footer lets you revisit them when available.

Service requests
Visiting the site sends your IP address, browser and request information to hosting and network providers so they can deliver pages and protect the service. Website visits themselves are not described as anonymous or fully offline.
